A Good Idea

I came up with this brilliant idea that I forced my sister to take part in. It involved going to the free day at the Shedd Aquarium on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. In the past, free days bring small crowds. But today all of Chicago was out of school. And every preschooler's mom had the same idea that I did. Heck, why not pay for $16 parking when you can get in free. We stood in line for over an hour in below freezing temperatures. Me without a coat. Denae without gloves. After an hour the rational part of our minds started working. Why in the world would we want to be in a small building with thousands of preschoolers and their moms? We left. Freezing and 16 dollars poorer.

    Wow- these are making me cold! Such great shots- beautiful angles- I especially like the one with the boy in the rainbow cap who is looking at you out of the corner of his eye...

You've got some amazing shots and sound like me turning around 1/2 mi. down the road just to go back and capture something inspiring!
