Mezno

This is Mezno. Within two days he has taken my heart. He also takes my phone every 5 minutes to play a train game so I'm still trying to figure out if he loves me or my phone. Probably the phone. Anyway, Mezno is 12 years old and lives with his uncle in a village near the mission. He was born with extra vertabrae which is causing increasing medical issues for him and if his condition were to stay as it is he will not live past 20. In a few months he will be traveling to Fort Wayne, Indiana to have the extra vertebrae removed by a surgeon who has volunteered his services. The outpouring of love for this little boy is amazing to me and one of the many stories of love I've seen thus far.
